i've been slacking lately and have had little time for the good 'ol dA. so please remain calm, more features will happen very soon. except there will be changes. now, the features will show more artists and leave little explanation. I figured the art will speak for itself. I am starting a club of my own right now called ~PhotoTrad "A club for photography and traditional art" it's a little project that I am hoping will attract many artists from different skill levels and have them share ideas and concepts in order to improve their art and sustain quality. I guess you can say the club is still in the larva state right now, so expect to see more a feature will be held for the club and will kick off the official start of the club. so check it out and start submitting right away!

First off, I would like to thank everyone who replied to my forum post. This will be my first ever journal feature and it was tough to narrow it down to five people. I recommend looking through all of these galleries because there is some great art in there. I also highly encourage you to & anything and everyhting you like. So, here they are! Enjoy!

other than all this stuff, everything has been going pretty good. the art show is still happening and my actual opening will be held tomoroow night (8/18/06) at 6:45 pm. I expect to sell a couple prints at least but I will be happy either way. my scanner is finally installed and I've already started adding photos to my digital archive. I just need to filter through them and do the final photoshop editing. keep in touch and don't forget to give some love to my features. they will appreciate it even more than I will!
